It was a few years ago now just before covid lockdown was in full swing in the UK. My partner Mike and I had been on holiday. We watched the boats in the harbour and started to build a pipe dream. We watched the people come and go on their boats and dreamed of a life like that one day. The world went on hold and I found out I was having twins so our first savings pot depleted as you can imagine. Twins are expensive. 😁
As the world got very scary and the direction of life seemed to change Mike started talking about actually living on a boat. He went to look at a converted fishing boat but it was going to take a windfall to afford the fuel. Luck we didn't as then fuel price went through the roof.
Now we are in a better position and understanding after probably 5 years of saving and research we are sick of just trying.
